I gotta pass my Calc Final in order to pass the class. I have
an A in Women's Studies though. 100% on the tests so far and a 385/400
on the essay. I just have a final left in that class!

I guess... the one thing I wanna talk about is how you can spend 2
weeks talking to an amazing person, only to find out that they're
taken. I'm not really heartbroken or anything, because she's happy
right now, with a really lucky guy. As much as I want to be that guy, I
have to be honorable and respect that. I still want to be a part of her
life though, as her friend. Probably the main reason I'm not so sad is
that I'll probably keep in touch with her, most likely through e-mail.
How can I ever forget her smile, I told her that I'd miss it over the
Summer. That if she ever needed a friend to talk to, that she could
always talk to me.

Whatever happens though, I'll accept it. It's time for me to move
on! There's always plenty of fish in the sea, I can't fall
back! Even if I never meet another amazing
Japanese-Guamanian woman in my life... I can at least be happy that I
know an amazing Japanese-Guamanian as a friend. The time that I've
spent with her as a friend, even if it was just small talk and joking
around. Those memories I will cherish. I am so grateful to have met
such an amazing person. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but
the beauty she possesses on the inside is unmatched by any other woman
I've met so far. I want to cheer for her, and see her graduate with a
Communications degree and follow her dream. That's the truth. If for
some reason the guy she's
with breaks her heart... then he's at a true loss, because I would be
the luckiest bf in the world if she was my gf. I guess that's all that
I need to say about that. Soon, I'm going to be the guy that every
amazing woman goes for. I'm going to save up for "elite" dress clothes
and look like a million bucks, I'm going to go to the gym and be more
fit, and I'm going to practice my social skills to be an even better
talker. I'm going to make things happen!

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Qualcomm stadium was pretty cool. My average time was
a 10.7 on the 1/8 mile. I had a lot of fun hanging out with John,
Bruce, and Arvin. I almost beat Arvin's 240 but didn't. NOOOOO!

A lot has been going on, I'm going to Summer School and working a lot.
I'm taking Calculus and Women's Studies. Calculus sucks but Women's
Studies is great! I've met a lot of cool people there and it's pretty
cool making all the ladies smile and laugh. There's one girl that I
have my eye on. We'll see how that goes. If it doesn't work out then at
least I can be her friend and move on. Besides that, I'm just glad to
almost pay off my laptop! Then I can FINALLY buy nice JAPANESE food at
Mitsuwa market. I've been giving all of my paychecks to my parents
haha. Once I pay off everything I can eat good food, buy some nice
clothes, get a cellphone, and just chill. And my friend Bruce is back
from Georgia! YAAAAAAAAAAY! Now I just
have to wait for Charles and Chris to come back from Japan and then our
entire group can roll out in our cars haha. Anyways that's the update.
It's been awhile. Did I mention that I finished my STATS class and
don't have to take it anymore? YATTA!

LOL! 30 questions, I'll be asked 10 of them. I can probably BS a lot of
it since I have a decent vocabulary... but still I gotta study hard.
It's already 10:37PM though haha. My test is tomorrow at 10:50AM.

It's been a really long week. Must be the weather? It's like the
weather made time slow down. I just want it to be summer! But I have
summer school lol. I have work to look forward to, I don't mind work at
all. Working at SDSU is the best!

Wish me luck! Nothing new really going on with me, still single lol. Anyways, let's move on to the funny stuff! Alright! Yatta!

These are all made by me. I just took funny pictures of Michael Jackson and added funny captions... HAHAHAHAHAH!
I also have these pictures on my myspace account. Show your friends!
Make these pictures famous lol! If I get sued by Michael Jackson I'm
gonna need all your support haha.

Hahahahah, Edward Moss is the guy on E! Entertainment that's doing the "recreations" of the trial proceedings.

What can I say, his body language says it all...

Guilty! Now we can lock him up and move onto other more important news...

Jesus would be horrified.

On Friday after work I hung out with John for awhile and looked at him
working on his Z. It's pretty cool to see someone work on a car, it
makes me think of when I work on my computer haha. Cool to see someone
put a lot into what they do. Then John gave me a ride to Qualcomm
Stadium. There I met up with the crew.

I wanted to race but didn't have the money. I WOULD have had the money, but there was a good deal on DVD-R!
I got 3 packs of 25 DVD-R. So that would make it 75 DVD-R discs total!
It only cost me $25 too, so now you know why I didn't have enough money
to race lol. Can't pass up such good prices on DVD-R. Haha enough
computer talk, it's getting nerdy.

All I can say is, watching a drag race in person is WAY BETTER than
seeing it on TV. It's hard to describe the vibe. But there were lots of
people lined up, the smell of burned rubber in the air, and a lot of
smoke! I got to be a passenger in John's Z which was pretty chill. I
even got to borrow a helmet

Even though it only lasted about 9 seconds, it was pretty cool to just
speed along the track. Even if I was just a passenger. There was
this funny supped up Volvo that beat so many cars LOL! I'm pretty excited for the next time I get to go to Qualcomm, this time I'll probably race!

Haha I didn't actually race (I was just a passenger), this is just me
posing for the camera in John's Z (Car made by Datsun/Nissan). Thanks
John!

Then on Saturday I ate at a Japanese Restaurant called Ume No Ya. SOOO
HARD TO FIND! I got lost! Haha my teacher started laughing because I
couldn't find the restaurant. I had a fun time at the restaurant, it
was the best! It was even cooler because
the teacher gave me and two other students some Japanese Bandanas. We
got them because we never missed class or usually always went to class.
My Japanese teacher is the coolest teacher ever!

Haha everyone said I looked like a kid. The food at the restaurant was
OK. I really liked the fish though. Mackerel (sp?) tastes really good!
I really want to visit Japan or study abroad there, but now that I'm
working I don't want to leave my co-workers behind. I know for sure
that if I leave for a year to study abroad that I'll probably be
replaced or something... My job is the best, and I have the coolest
co-workers. Plus I get paid $10 an hour! (Haha why do I keep mentioning
this???). If I left and came back, it would be so hard to find a job
this good. So my plan is to graduate, and then when I work and get paid
vacations I'll visit Japan!

This weekend reaffirmed how happy I am that I have friends. Sure I may
not have a girlfriend or anything, but I have a lot to be happy about!
(A girlfriend would make things a million times better though,
ROFLMAO!) Now I know why people take pictures, they take them because
they won't want to forget cherished memories...

Sometimes I wish I could just freeze time in the present. I just
finished this Japanese Drama called Orange Days and the ending was a
bittersweet one. It made me think of what will happen to me and my
friends when we graduate from college, and how hard it will be to keep
in touch with everyone. I'm so lucky that despite the struggles that we
all go through, that me and my best friends have remained best friends
throughout all these years. One of them lives in Georgia right now, but
I still try my best to keep in touch. He'll be here in the
Summer, so it'll be really fun to have him hang out with us again.
It'll be like "old times" again.

I sent an e-mail to follow up, joked around a little but I guess the
whole time she just wanted to be my friend. Haha damn, why is this a
familiar thing to me? I'm not that ugly! I have straight teeth, my eyes aren't crooked, I smell good
She'll still hang out and all... but she said that only thing that she
can offer me is her friendship. Of course I'll honor that you know...
at least I made another friend! But yeah kinda bummed.
Thank goodness I have backups! Haha not really backups, more like girls
that I've been looking at prior to the current one I was going
after...

So that's the end of that story... just Keepin' it Gershom. I'll make a
comeback anyways... so the next girl I go for better watch out! I'll be
the best boyfriend ever, all she has to do is give me a chance! Can't stay sad forever haha. Anyways it's just a girl!
Still
planning it out in my mind, I think I'll give her a nice lunch or
dinner. So hard deciding on what to do...
Haha I did a funny Japanese skit last Thursday. Basically it was about
a Yakuza training an underling how to steal. I wore the Japanese
bandana, used nunchuku, used martial arts, and one of the characters
that I played got his candy stolen. The Yakuza underling told me that
candy would give me candies and told me to give it to him... then I
acted like Mad TV's Stewart and went YAAAAAADAAAAAA! and tried to kick
him
Nobody yells at me or treats me bad! IT industry is
the
best! I'm already making $10 an hour which is pretty decent for a
college student lol. There's a lot of stuff going on, let's just say
life is pretty good. The best things in life happen when you least
expect it. I have midterms pretty soon though, which is going to
suck, but I'm just so happy right now! Woot! I re-realized the beauty
of latinas. I have a crush on this girl and she's so beautiful and has
a cool attitude. Like the kinda girl that you could easily talk to and
be comfortable with. If nothing happens at least I'd make a good
friend. Been pretty busy at school. Japanese is getting so tough. I have to study harder though.
Thursday, March 24, 2005

Just joined the SDSU blogring! Woot! I
should have joined this blogring sooner, so many beautiful woman haha.
Next thing you know, people will walk up to me at SDSU and go, "I read
your xanga! All you do is talk about pretty ladies! What's wrong with
you!"

Then I'll be smiling or look dumb and go "Haha, I'm a guy." Haha yeah right, like that will happen.

Anyone sign up on myspace, join the SDSU group and actually see those
people at school? It's pretty funny. That's all I'm gonna say lol. It's
one thing to see someone's picture, but it's another thing to actually
walk around campus and have that "deja vu" feeling like you've seen
someone before... then remember them on myspace lol!

I'm turning 21 this year! But I don't see it as that special, I wish I
was 18 again. Whenever I see a pretty 18 year old I start to think that
I'm an old man. Isn't that weird?

Right now I'm at the point where I want to have a stable girlfriend.
I'm a nice guy! Too bad a lot of ladies my age (20) wanna have that bad
guy that's cocky. Haha, I'll bust out the secret weapon! Being funny!

So if any of the pretty ladies at SDSU wanna add me go ahead .

Then I'll get comments from all of my guy friends making fun of me.

"Gershom, if they're not Japanese you're not gonna go for them!"

Haha nah, I'll go for anyone that looks good lol. But Japanese women
are the prettiest ladies on Earth! Korean women too! The culture of
Japan and Korea is just the greatest... great food, cool culture, nice
people. Go Asia! I can't forget the
Philippines, I don't like the country's corrupt political officials but
the people for the most part are nice.

Nippon wa ichiban desu yo!
Dude I wish the rest of the guys came! But most people had work. CHARLES! Dude there were Dhs there!

What's crazy is before I went I had thoughts of seeing the girl that I
used to like just "showing up" and turns out that she did. It was
weird! Anyone have those thoughts in the back of their head that turn
out to come true? Craaaaazy scary

At first I saw her and I was kinda stunned, like I was in a dream. She
was with her guy friend who I'm guessing is her boyfriend now. I'm
happy for them. But for like 30 seconds or a small moment of time it's
like I had all these flashbacks, flashbacks of how much I liked her and
all this stuff I did to show that I liked her. But those feelings are
long gone now since I've moved on. I had a great time hanging out with
my friends and them. For the longest time I had a feeling that her and
her friends ditched me... so I felt a little bitter about that. Even
though I saw them by chance today, they were so nice to me and my
friends.

Anyone ever see someone that you felt like you really loved, then
didn't see for awhile, then saw them again as a friend? I guess that's
what happened today. A few weeks ago I reframed myself into thinking
about the positives in life. I also reframed myself to have more
confidence.... to be pimp! It worked! I can now talk to girls pretty
easily now. I got to meet this one cool girl at the BBQ. She was pretty
chill. She's a graduate student though. HAHA why do I feel like people
a few years older than me are OLD and people a few years younger than
me are TOO YOUNG? It's weird! Haha anyways I helped her go to a site
where she can download dramas off the internet.

Before I was such a reserved shy guy, but now that I have a more
positive attitude, and more confidence, it's such a great feeling!
There's so many people that are depressed about stuff, and that's
natural. I'm like that too once in awhile, but there's so much to be
happy for... and I'm glad that I figured that out this early (depending
on your perspective) in life.

So the girl I used to like may be with a guy that "cockbloc*ed" me. Or
I may have been the "coc*blocker" since she knew that guy first.
Anyways, I should be happy and I am happy for her if it's the case that
they both are going out. If I really cared about her I would want her
to be happy, I'll find my own happiness. I just can't wait for that
happiness to come to me! It's only a matter of time...
Wednesday, February 23, 2005

Anyone know how to fix my chatterbox? It's been broken for a long time
haha. I forgot where I put the code. Anyways, I GOT A JOB!!!!! YOKATTA!
IMA WATASHI WA TOTEMO URESHIII DESU YO!
Translation: I'm glad! I'm very happy now!

I applied for this job at SDSU where I'll fix computers and maintain
network computers... stuff that I've been doing for years. This
job is great! You get paid $10-12 per hour doing what you love!

I can't believe it! HAHA! At first I wasn't really expecting anything
when I was applying for jobs, I was just "I think I want a job" because
I don't want to depend on my parents for money anymore (except for the
gas and food bill LOL!). Hopefully now I'll have more freedom!

I only have to work 20 hours per week! Isn't that great!!! So every week I'll be making $200 before taxes.

School has been a little tough, especially Japanese! I'm only taking 12
units this semester but Japanese is a hard class. 6 units! Natural
Disasters I have a B and Statistics I have an A (For now lol).
Japanese, I think my grade right now is a high C or low B. I'll just
study really hard and raise that back to B+ range .

Words can't express how happy I am now... it's been like 2 years since
I've had a job. Only this time this job will be great! No retail
businesses where people yell at you and treat you like crap when you
know you're smarter than them. Just fix computers!
